Ylvie offers clinics in the Academic Art of Riding for riders from all disciplines and all levels.
In a clinic you will learn the theoretical background of the Academic Art of Riding, including insights in anatomy, biomechanics, dressage exercises and the seat. Combined with two daily practical lessons with your own horse, this will provide you with a base to continue your training on a higher level. These clinics can be taught all over the world!
I offer 1.5 and 2-day weekend clinics and, for an even more in-depth experience, it is also possible to book 3- and 4-day clinics. Especially for my students who live abroad and do not have the possibility to have frequent lessons, these 3- and 4-day clinics are highly recommended. In a multi-day clinic, you have the time to practice what you have learned, and to engrain these learning experiences in body and mind.
My clinics are taught to a maximum of 7 participants with horse. Also, there is room for theory participants/spectators. Every day there will be 2 hours of theory and two lessons for each riding participant.
A clinic is the perfect opportunity to start with the Academic Art of Riding. It offers a theoretical and practical foundation on which you can continue your own training for a while. By training with the other participants you can benefit from group support.
For more advanced riders, this clinic will provide you with the opportunity to study the theory in-depth. With the intensive private lessons you can work on your development on your own level.
Each clinic can have it's own specific theme, from the first steps of the Academic Art of Riding and ground work exercises to collection. One of the most favorite topics is the Rider's Seat, in which we cover all aspects of the seat from both the Academic and the Centered Riding perspective.
